Placing the Order:
How do I place an order?
 

Our secure server is up and running, and can accept your credit cards over the internet. Just press on the white "purchase" buttons to add an item to your shopping cart.

Gold, platinum expensive gems and custom items require a 50% deposit.

 

What forms of payment can I use? Cards, COD, etc?
 

We take several major credit cards. And if you're mail ordering, checks or money orders are fine. Please allow ample time for checks to clear before we ship.

What if the shopping cart doesn't work?
 

Although we've found the shopping cart to be reliable, for most part, occasional glitches do happen in cyberspace.

As shopping carts work via cookies, please also check your browser prefernces to be sure that you are accepting cookies.

If you have any trouble using the cart, or need to make additional specification, please do not hesitate to e-mail us.

Regarding Check/MO orders: if your item doesn't happen to be in stock when you order, we will not create it until we actually receive payment. We apologize for the additional time this will add to shipping your order, however again, as a small company (me and the cat) we cannot lay out for items that are not confirmed by payment.

What info do you need?
 

If you are ordering a ring please utilize the ring size dropdown. For belts, put your ring or belt size in the Special Instructions area on the secure order form.

Also, PLEASE include your email address and phone number in on the shipping information page. This way we can contact you immediately if there is any question about your order.

Do you have a better photo I can look at to make my decision?
 

Unfortunately, we don't. We put the best photos we have on the site. Our camera is ancient and about 0 megapixels. Anyone who wants to donate a good quality digital camera to a starving artist is welcome to do so. <G>

Ring Sizes:
How do I find out my ring size?
 

The easiest and most accurate way to accomplish this is to go to your local jeweler and ask them to size you. Most stores will be happy to do so at no charge, especially if they think they can sell you something.

Can you convert international sizes?
 

Yes, we have a conversion chart, so just send us your size and we'll figure it out. Please don't send us circumferences, radiuses, or such (whether in inches or milimeters), as that just confuses us.

Do you have my size in stock?
 

Our ring sizes go in and out of stock very quickly, and in the time that it takes us to answer that question, the status may change. The best way to find out about our in-stock status is to place the order and we will let you know once we receive it.

I purchased a ring and gave you the wrong size was wrong. Can I get it resized?
 

If the size you gave us doesn't fit, you can mail the ring back to us.

Please include $10 to cover any cost of shipping/insuring the item back to you. With gold items there may also be a re-sizing charge.

How long will it take?
 

If your item is in stock, it will probably need finishing or sizing, and we will mail it generally within a week or so. If it is not in stock, creating your piece can take approximately 8 weeks at our present workload.

With rings it's very challenging for us to carry all sizes, so if you've ordered a ring it's more than likely that we will be creating it especially for you.

Please also note that we do not stock most items (unless we happened to have made them for photos and for spec) in gold. We almost never stock gold rings unless it's the original we made to show the design. We're a small company and can't afford to stock gold.

Because rings are stronger when they are casted to size rather than cast at "any old size" and then cut down or resized up, we cast each ring individually to the correct size you've ordered. This ensures you of a finer-quality product which can last you a lifetime, and longer, if properly cared for.

We will try to email you to let you know the status of your order. Your credit card will not be charged until we are ready to mail your item.

After many challenges in the running of the site, Lionrhod (the site's founder) has taken over again. It's a long story, but basically we had some employees mess us around. Because of this we are low on stock and working hard to get things going again. Our caster is also slow at the moment. Please bear with us. We very much want to get these lovely items to you, and will do so with all possible haste.

Regarding Check/MO orders: if your item doesn't happen to be in stock when you order, we will not create it until we actually receive payment. We apologize for the additional time this will add to shipping your order, however again, as a small company (me and the cat) we cannot lay out for items that are not confirmed by payment.

 

 
 

Please note that because many of the items here are one-off originals, we must offer them on a first-come basis.

Shipping:
How do you ship?
 

We ship via US Post Office Priority Mail. We also offer express mail shipping WITHIN the US ONLY. However, as we are presently behind on our stock, it's most likely that your item is not in stock, thus express mail isn't practical.

How much is shipping?
 

Shipping cost depends on the amount of your purchase, as we calculate it to allow us to insure your items.

The easiest way for you to determine your shipping costs is to input your address information into the shopping cart. Once that is done, the shipping will be calculated for you. None of the information will be saved until you submit the final order.

Can you express ship?
 

If we have the item in stock, we'll be happy to express ship for an additional cost - whatever the going postal rate is.

Do you ship internationally?
 

We do take international orders, however due to some unfortunate losses with fraudulent credit cards, our international policy is slightly different.

When placing an international order, we ask that you fax or mail a copy of your billing statement showing your address, with a signed request to charge your credit card.

We can only ship international orders to the address on the billing statement.

Additionally, your card will be charged immediately as a deposit rather than just prior to shipping (as with US orders).

Thank you much for your understanding in this issue. We are a small business, and cannot afford the impact of fraudulent charges.

What is your return policy?
 

Our items are beautifully designed and laboriously hand finished. Most folks find that they look even better in person than they do on our site, so we're pretty sure you won't want to return any of our items.

If however, you do, our return policy is:

Silver items are returnable within 10 days for a refund, not including shipping.

Gold and platinum items (because of the materials outlay) are returnable within 10 days for CREDIT ONLY. There is a 15% restocking fee on gold, platinum and gems or chains.

Custom items (made to your design, etc) and items with costly gems are not returnable, except if there is a defect in workmanship.

What is your privacy policy?
 

We're pretty private people ourselves, and we don't appreciate when companies pass on our address to those who fill our mailboxes (both virtual and physical) with unwanted mail.

Therefore we have no intent of passing on your information either. We do not sell mailing lists, or offer your personal information to anybody.

Do you sell wholesale to the trade?
 

We occasionally will wholesale to other stores. Contact us for more information.

What if I need to speak with a real human being?
 

As a very small buisiness, it's sometimes hard for us to answer phones. And additionally we keep some very strange hours. It is best to attempt to resolve any questions via email. If this is absolutely not feasible, please email to ask for a phone number.

If you call and get an answering machine, please leave a message. We frequently have our hands full of tools and solder, etc. and are unable to grab the phone before the machine catches it.

How fast will you answer my email?
 

Again, there's only two of us here, me and my assistant Mr. Squeaky the cat, and he has trouble with the keys because his paws are too wide (he keeps asking for a better spell- checker).

Other than him, only one of us uses the computer. We will attempt to answer your email as swiftly as possible. However we are not always able to check/answer email every day.

The more precise you are regarding your inquiry, the faster we're able to determine your needs and write back. So please give us as much detail as possible.

Catalog Requests

 

You're looking at it. We do not at present have a paper catalog. Many of our pieces are one-off originals and are often sold before a catalog could be printed. In addition, having a cyber-catalog allows us to update and add new items frequently and kills fewer trees.

We realize that cream text on a black background can be troublesome to print. (But we think it looks sexy.)
