Want us to link to you?
We strive to make our links page an quality page with interesting and fun experience for our customers. We'll be happy to consider doing so, however we get multitudes of link requests. To make things easier, we'll state our policies here:
- If you just want to link to us, and don't want a reciprocal link, then please do go ahead, and thanks!! Feel free to let us know!
- We only link to unique and interesting sites. If you think your site is unique, odd or interesting then please do contact us about a link.
- We never link to "link-farm" type sites that are basically only there for the purpose of having their links listed on a webpage SOMEWHERE (who cares where).
- We prefer to link to sites with themes that complement ours. Look around our website and if you feel our pages are apropriate for yours, then consider linking.
- Artist Sites: We love linking to other artists, so long as their items are handmade, unique, (and if we like the stuff). Be sure that your items are of a type that would be of interest to our customer base, however. I've received requests from sites that offer everything from baby clothes to handmade potholders to needlepoint. Face it - our customers probably wouldn't click on your link, and your customers probably wouldn't click on ours.
- Jewelry Sites: We get hundreds of requests from other jewelry sites. Now we DO sometimes link to other jewelry sites IF the sites have beautiful handmade jewelry that we like. However we NEVER link to sites that offer the run of the mill junk you can buy in any mall in the world. 1) Why should we send folks to the competition? 2) Again, our links page is about quality experiences for our customers and visitors.
- Personal Pages: We rarely link to people's personal pages unless they offer something unique in the way of content. We're happy you're excited about our site, we love you for being a visitor or customer. Much as you might be a really cool person, and much as your taste in music, dating experiences, blogs and other experiences may be fascinating to you and your friends, they probably won't be to our visitors unless you have content that is funny to our particular audience, or is in some way related to our themes. we probably won't link to you.
- Social Causes: We ARE interested in linking to sites that are working to make the world a better place. Our interests are ecology, encouraging a truly democratic process, supporting our troops, helping those in lesser circumstances than ourselves, alternative energy, encouraging positive thinking and taking care of our planet and especially our animal friends.
